Grain & Protein Technologies is seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Network Administrator with deep expertise in Fortinet networking and security solutions. This is a senior-level role with responsibility for maintaining, optimizing, and securing a complex, multi-site network environment across EMEA.

You will join a cross-border IT team working closely with colleagues in several countries and production sites, playing a central role in ensuring high availability, strong security compliance, and continuous infrastructure improvements while contributing to long-term enterprise network architecture.

Key Responsibilities

Network Administration & Security

• Administer and optimize Fortinet solutions (FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, VPN, SD-WAN, HA)

• Ensure security and compliance through firewall policies, IPS, AV, web filtering, and SASE

• Manage licenses, patching, hardening, updates, and optimization

• Provide secondary support for HP Aruba and Cisco technologies

Infrastructure, Support & Architecture

• Deliver L2/L3 support and troubleshoot network/infrastructure issues across sites

• Monitor performance and ensure high availability

• Participate in IT projects and on-call duties

• Contribute to enterprise network architecture, harmonization, and optimization initiatives

Success criteria

Your Profile

You are a technically strong and solution-oriented network professional who thrives in complex, international environments.

We expect you to bring:

• 5+ years of enterprise network administration experience

• Strong Fortinet expertise (NSE4 minimum)

• Solid routing & switching knowledge (BGP, OSPF, VLAN, LAN/WAN)

• Experience with firewall policies, patch management, and security compliance

• Secondary experience with HP Aruba and Cisco

• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a matrix organization

It would be nice if you have experience in:

Advanced Fortinet solutions (FortiNAC, FortiEDR, FortiWeb, SASE/ZTNA), cloud networking (Azure/AWS), or automation skills (Python, Ansible, APIs).
